The Irish Dance Programme

Ruth McKenna is a professional Irish dancer with over 10 years experience touring worldwide with the world renowned Irish dance show "Riverdance" and various Irish dance productions. Having danced in arenas and prestigious theatres globally, she saw a gap in the industry for high quality, non- competitive Irish dance classes centered around well-being, community and the beauty of Irish culture. In 2022, Ruth obtained a Bachelors of Education from MIE, Trinity College Dublin which has been invaluable to leading Irish dance ed as well as understanding people, their needs and how they learn. In 2021, Ruth studied acting for screen at Bow Street Academy, Ireland's leading screen acting programme. Through her performing experience and training it is Ruth's mission to inspire dancers to express themselves freely through community classes, events and Irish dance education in a positive, liberal way. "Make everybody feel like a somebody", because everyone's journey should be celebrated.
